The purpose of the workshops, seminars and training offered by the Foundation is to give yourself the ‘breathing space’ to reflect on your  life, go within and develop your self awareness, identify limiting beliefs which are holding you  back and leave feeling more relaxed, joyful and centered with a clear way forward.

Overview

Rod Briggs founded the Foundation in 1998.  The various techniques taught by the Foundation are for companies and individuals to use so as to live life more effectively.  They assist the process of growth by integrating people as individuals and by unifying the various aspects of their being.  The entire sequence forms the basis for the practical modern philosophy, which the Foundation teaches.  This learning is for everybody, no matter what you have done, what your habits are, or what a mess you have made of things.  The teachings will help you to find out why you have made a mess of things, help you to change the reason and so stop doing them. The techniques have been developed for the purpose of helping us get in the driver's seat and staying there.  These teachings are for those who want to improve their lives, their environments, and who want some guidelines to make their lives and the lives of those around them more harmonious.

Extract From Weekly Articles:

Solitude

Get away from the crowd when you can.  Keep yourself to yourself, if only for a few hours daily. -Arthur Brisbane

One of the many blessings in my life is the amount of time of enforced seclusion I am presented with, but many others do not see this as a gift; indeed most often, on hearing how much time I spend alone the response is “Oh! I wouldn’t like that...”  This got me to pondering what it is about solitude, and the accompanying silence, that threatens us so.

Those of us not used to being quiet often rush to put on the radio, a CD, or switch on the television when we’re alone to cover up the awkwardness we feel when we are presented with stillness. The truth is that every one of these moments of tranquillity and serenity gives us a glimpse of eternity - for that is what is reflected in our quiet spaces, and it is this presence, so palpable once you allow your attention to explore it, that causes mild panic to those who are not used to it. Every breath you take, every thought you think, every thing you see, in fact all your experience and every moment in it is absolutely unique. We move in a continuum of ever-changing energy.

Delegate's Comments:

"I came in skeptical but interested.  During the first day I was amazed at what I learned about myself and the world around me and the power of the brain.  The second day I was overwhelmed by the power of the experience.  In all my experiences of "Self Management" or "Change" seminars, this was not just the most interesting, it was the most useful, meaningful and life-changing.  Thanks."

"I have found the entire weekend to be extremely beneficial to say the least.  I think it's the first seminar which I have attended that I was able to keep my concentration going for 95+% of the time.  This I attribute to the speaker, who I found amazing in terms of knowledge, humour and skill.  Thank you!"

Dear Rod,

I am always emailing you with one question or another about life, existence, string theory, anxiety……the list goes on.

Today, however, I am just writing to say thank you.

I have been attending Mindlink courses for 5 years now (some might call me a slow learner) and I just wanted to say how much my life has changed during that time. The whole thing has been an amazing revelation to me and besides providing comfort, peace and joy in my life (i.e. a plan for surviving the 21st century) it has finally allowed those strange “spiritual” yearnings that I have been blocking for years to take some form of shape.

I know I have just started, with a few toddling baby steps, on an amazing journey but it was you and the Mindlink Foundation which enabled me to do that, and for that I am eternally (maybe literally J) grateful!

I think you made analogy once about climbing a mountain just to find you were at the base of another huge mountain…and so it goes on. Well, I am not sure if I have even reached the base camp of the first mountain, but I will get there eventually.

Thanks for getting me to look up and see the mountain in the first place!

With very warmest wishes,

Jill
